Thanks to Lynne Clarke for sending this great opportunity toField Trips with Sue a few years ago. What a great way to train for the Peachtree Road Race or the Jr. Peachtree.
Each Tuesday from May 8 – June 19, the Atlanta Track Club sponsors All-Comers meets at Emory University. You can come to one meet or all of them.
Events include running races, throwing the shot put, long jump and high jump. The events are for all ages and there are different brackets for different age groups from children under 6 to adults. Lynne tells us that the schedule is an estimate and sometimes races start a bit early on days when attendance is light, so come early.
