The High Museum of Art is giving parents a wonderful Thanksgiving gift, FREE admission for kids 17 and under on Friday, Nov. 28th. Forget Black Friday, shop later. The High has a great schedule of activities planned beginning at 1 pm.
I’ve been wanting to take my boys to the High to see the new Cezanne exhibit and I’d like to see the Gordon Parks: Segregation Story. The day after Thanksgiving would be perfect because we could also participate in some hands on fun, like the still life drawing or water color workshop. I’m interested to see what the family (and the adult) scavenger hunts entail. My teens might enjoy the linocut workshop and the Eddie’s Attic musicians. Something for everyone, plus receive $5 off a $20 purchase at the museum store.
