Agent P’s Adventure at EPCOT World Showcase

There are spy’s everywhere. Jet setting from one country to another, keeping the world safe from the evil Dr. Doofenshmirtz. And it’s all done from a hand held device picked up in Walt Disney World’s EPCOT World Showcase.

Agent P’s Adventure at EPCOT World Showcase

Free Walt Disney World Scavenger Hunts via @FieldtripswSueEPCOT is not a kid-friendly theme park. Or so I thought. But in the end, it’s become one of my kids favorites. They love touring around the countries and especially getting the carmel popcorn in Germany. Another favorite activity to engage them is Agent P’s Adventure.

Agent P is actually Perry the Platypus from the popular Disney cartoon Phineas and Ferb. He needs your help to defeat Dr. Doofenshmirtz. Agents sign on at a recruitment center. There are recruitment centers at Odyssey Bridge, Norway Pavilion, Italy Pavilion or near the International Gateway. Here you’ll receive your spy device (very similar to a cell phone) and instructions on how to play the game. Each device starts in a different place and takes you to various countries in World Showcase.

Sign on as one of Agent P’s unpaid interns and get a hand held device to take through the park to uncover Dr. Doofenshmirtz’s evil plot.

The best part of Agent P’s adventure is discovering hidden areas of World Showcase. It gives you an excuse to truly explore, and find some fun surprises along the way. You really do feel like a secret agent. While most of the guests are busy shopping or choosing their next snack, your team is getting a somewhat secret tour and uncovering hidden in plain site interactive objects. Plus, your kids get their own phone to interact with a favorite TV persona.

If you like Agent P’s adventure, there are other in-park scavenger hunts in Disney’s Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. I think they need one at Hollywood Studios too. I wonder what that would look like?
